Quasimodo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame and adorable Bell Ringer. I haven't posted anything for a while, art wise... So I thought I might as well do a chibi of my favourite character. :] Lol. Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only person on DA who thinks he's so cute...
And he has a little flower too. If I remember rightly from the novel, Quasi offered two vases to Esmeralda, one with dead flowers but a beautiful vase, the other with a simple moulded vase but with beautiful flowers.
Basically, it was on the terms on 'just because something doesn't look beautiful on the outside, doesn't mean it's not holding something beautiful within.'
(I must do more Chibis from this movie...)

AND NOW... Random Comments.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is definately my favourite Disney movie/musical at the moment. In fact I wonder it might replace my obsession with Phantom of the Opera...
Phan-girls: YOU CAN NEVER BETRAY ERIK!!!
Or... not... Still, it's a film that's very dear to my heart. It was as I remember faintly, the theme when I went to Disneyland Paris back in 1996... Gosh, that was ages ago. But yes, that was the theme. I supposedly saw the Feastival of Fools there, and I know I got an weird Jester themed autograph book...
And I remember Clopin's costume there; if it was cosplay I'd have given him first place. It's inspiring... and Esmeralda's costume too rocked. Infact the whole movie inspires me, espeacially the songs. And it all rocks. : D
Oh, my Esmeralda doll was just beautiful. ;-; My parents got me her the day we were going to Disneyland with my cousins. I am determinded to find her again...
And yeah. Quasimodo rocks. He's adorable infact, and I only wished people realised inner beauty is way more beautiful than appearences on the outside. Yep. x)
--- ATTENTION: The background artwork was not done by me, it is (c) to the Disney movie, from a screen shot I took and edited. I take no credit.
It was meant to be for my desktop originally, but I thought it suited my picture. But if I have to change it... so be it. >.<

Quasimodo (c) Disney and the Hunchback of Notre Dame movie, as well as the novel and writer Victor Hugo.
It's worth digging up Jen! : D I completely forget the joys of the movie. And it was weird for me. When I started watching it, the whole Disney family feel was so alien to me. I actually forgot people smiled and didn't look so angsty all the time.
If you're a child at heart, and I bet you are Jen, you'll enjoy watching the movie again. xD Got superb songs and characters in it after all.
Oh no no! I didn't leave. I was just a bit absent. @.@ But I'm more or less back now. ^^ Thank you for your comment.
*laughs* Yooh make him look dead cute. I liked Frollo cos he was an evil lil idiot.
I love the colouring in this and he background fits well with the picture.
Lol. Natssss! : DDD *Tackle-hug* ._. Ahh I've been away too long. Sorry. >.< I'll have to catch up with DA. Darn. I think I might do a chibi of Frollo or Clopin next.
Anyway, thank you for the comment. : ) Awesome to hear from you! xD
Your efforts to make someone who's damned from their ugliness into a appreciated human being must be admired, Violettes. I see the true kindness he portrayed within the movie. His smile creates a warm saticfaction of exceptence. Splendid work as always, dear Violettes.

Yup, Quasi is definately my favourite Disney character. : D If you ask me, kids can learn a lot from the movie... That sounds cheesy I guess, but it's sort of true with the message behind it.
If you ignore the random dark moments, it's famiyl friendly.
